Collecting and processing remote human-centric data starts with learning about vital systems in the human body, how they function and the signals they produce. This course will provide a foundational understanding of electrical, chemical and other biometric signals you can use to track and assess human performance.
As you take the Human Systems and Biological Signals course, you’ll learn about the past, present and future of biometric sensing and measurement. You’ll study lab-based sensing and measurement as well as the role of remote techniques in real-world conditions. And you’ll find out how to combine data gained through different approaches and essential context to generate invaluable biometric information.
